You can create a subdomain record in your DNS zone file for a domain registered with inCloud Server Hosting. Subdomains are a type of domain prefix, such as blog.yoursite.com, that uses an A record to point to an IP address.
Deleting a preset profile removes it from your account without deleting any domain names. Domains assigned to the profile keep the profile settings until you change them.
We understand there may be situations where you no longer wish to have a domain name registered to you. If you decide to cancel (delete) a domain from your account, you can do so at any time. When you cancel a domain name, it is immediately deleted from your account. You may wish to turn off auto renew instead.
You can downgrade your domain protection plan at any time. Downgrading to Basic Privacy Protection will remove the additional features of Full Protection.
Forward your domain to send visitors to a different page when they visit your domain. Forwarding is useful when you've already built a website elsewhere, or if you want to connect your domain to a social media page.
You'll need to get your authorization code (also known as auth or EPP code) prior to transferring your domain away from inCloud Server Hosting. You won't be able to transfer your domain away if it's within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer, or if a 60-day lock was applied after updating domain contact information. You can still get your auth code in these cases, and for multiple domains at a time, by creating an exportable list.
Protecting your domain name is an essential part of managing your online presence. Our different domain protection plans hides personal contact information and helps prevent accidental domain expiration, unauthorized domain transfers and vulnerabilities on your website, such as malware.
Picking the perfect domain name is a crucial step of your online adventure. If you have an idea to get online or a great name for your website, we recommend registering the domain immediately before anyone else does. Your domain will be used for your website and email, and establishes your online identity.
